A review of 2023 at Ezpeleta

2023 will soon be coming to an end. That’s why, here at Ezpeleta, we want to relive the excitement of all the special events from this year.

In this blog post, we bring you a roundup of our journey through the trade fairs, conferences and exhibitions that we have had the pleasure of attending over the last year. Additionally, it has also been a year of learning, sharing experiences and creating new professional synergies.

2023 highlights

January

At the start of the year, we launched Ezpeleta's 2023 catalogue, in which we presented new products, including our BAKE chair.

This two-tone model was a highlight of our catalogue thanks to its combinations of colour between the structure and backrest, and also because of its wrap-around and rounded shape.

Its counterpart, the BAKE PAD chair, the same model in an upholstered format, was another of our stand-out new products.

March

March saw the start of event season with The Design Room Lisbon, and we had the pleasure of attending.

It was the first edition that ANIEME (Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters) organised internationally and, for us, it was an opportunity to create professional synergies and exhibit all our new products.

April 

April was a huge month at Ezpeleta. The renowned Milan Furniture Fair took place, as it does every year, in which we presented more new products for 2023. 

Firstly, we were delighted to reveal the NOON armchair, a reinvention of traditional curved wooden chairs, with an organic and synthetic shape. This new model from Ezpeleta was designed by Héctor Serrano, who was also able to accompany us during the event.

Secondly, we also presented the TRENA collection. This family, comprising a chair, armchair and high stool, strives to be a contemporary version of traditional wooden chairs woven with bulrush. Their ergonomic and organic shapes fuse together with a modern and highly attractive aesthetic. This design comes from Yonoh Studio, who also attended the event.

Finally, we had the opportunity to present the BAKE WOOD chair, an updated version of the BAKE chair, also launched this year, with an original wooden backrest, with a beech veneer on the inner side and high quality oak on the outer side and manufactured under FSC certification, with ULEF (Ultra Low Emitting Formaldehyde) adhesives. 

These few days were certainly hard work, but also immensely satisfying. 

May

In May , another event from The Design Room in Madrid took place.

The event was held at the Fernán Núñez Palace. It was aimed at specifiers from the contract world (architectural studios, hotels, interior designers, architects, decorators, decoration studios, etc.) and we had the opportunity to share opinions and experiences with all of them.

July

At the end of July, we enjoyed a truly special day for the whole Ezpeleta team.

We organised an internal event that we were all able to attend: the 2nd and 3rd generation of the Ezpeleta family, employees from Oñati, Nigrán and Vila Nova de Cerveira.

It was a day of celebration, where we strengthened our relationships and enjoyed a pleasant evening in good company. Undoubtedly, this type of event helps us to enhance our offer.

September

In September we took part in one of the most important national trade fairs in the furniture and lighting sector: Feria Hábitat Valencia.

It consisted of 4 very intense days, lots of work, but was also extremely enriching. 

We had the pleasure of establishing links with professionals from the sector and once again presenting the new products we launched this year, the TRENA collection, NOON armchair and our BAKE WOOD chair. Additionally, the designers of these new products came to visit our stand to share opinions and experiences with us and with the public. 

October

We returned to Milan in October to exhibit our products at the Host Milan Trade Fair, an event of immense importance in the world of hospitality and catering.

This edition was a landmark for sustainability, with this being the primary focus of the event.  This made us particularly excited since, at Ezpeleta, respecting the environment is one of our essential pillars.

Completing the calendar of trade fairs for 2023, in the last week of October we were delighted to exhibit our products and new developments from the year at Decor Hotel 2023, an event held in Lisbon.

November

Our 2023 ends with one of the most special events for us, our Spain and Portugal sales convention. 

During this event, we presented the new products for 2024, we exchanged opinions and enjoyed a wonderful evening in the company of the whole team, strengthening our relationships and our offer.

Without a doubt, this type of gathering motivates us to look forward to the new year. 

Here at Ezpeleta, we are eagerly looking forward to a 2024 full of equally memorable moments to those we have enjoyed over this last year.
