Hotel EETU in Begur

Description

Its Mediterranean architecture towers over the sea to the Medieval castle, which dominates the town from the top. Its buildings and streets blend into the natural landscape, painting a picture that looks like it has stood the test of time.

Begur has a lot to offer travellers and hotel Eetu makes itself available to complete what is bound to be the perfect holiday. 

This four-star hotel is located in a luxury residential area by the sea, surrounded by coves and the beauty of Begur. The hotel boasts 47 rooms, 2 apartments and a wonderful outdoor heated pool with a wellness area, large solarium with Balinese beds and bar; restaurant-bar services with the option of half board. It offers a generous buffet breakfast, with show cooking, which can be enjoyed from the terrace under the shade of the mulberry trees.

This project fell to Casa Delfín, Ezpeleta’s distributor in Catalonia, one of the main distributors in the Spanish hospitality sector and perfect partner to carry it out.

Of course, bearing in mind the location, one of the customer’s requirements was to tailor the installation to the aesthetics of the hotel and its setting, which is notably natural and Mediterranean in character. When it comes to integrating all of the elements of outdoor furniture, having a single supplier guarantees that the colours, materials and finishes match to perfection, just as we will see below.

For the bar area, Casa Delfín chose the QUATRO table, one of our most versatile tables, in white, respecting the establishment’s Mediterranean look. Its single central leg was decisive when it came to choosing this model, since it enables the use of the space to be maximised.

Together with QUATRO, it was decided to incorporate the LAND chair, also in white. This chair with elegant lines is highly suited to humid areas thanks to its high quality materials like the Phifertex fabric, which have undergone an antifungal treatment and have a strong resistance to UV rays. Moreover, LAND stands out for its high degree of comfort, an essential characteristic in projects where the ultimate aim of the installation should be focussed on customers’ relaxation.

In order to enjoy the hours of sun with peace of mind, parasols are a must. On this occasion, PALMA was the model chosen, with a white frame and fabric and without a flywheel. Its size and its anti-corrosive materials, such as aluminium and fibreglass, make it ideal for pool areas. In addition, the fibreglass rods offer great protection and resistance to wind, which is necessary in our coastal areas.

Sun loungers are one of the furniture items that holidaymakers will enjoy most when they want to enjoy sun and beach destinations.  So, choosing them is no minor issue.

For this project, Casa Delfín combined the VILA sun loungers and the IBIZA XL DAYBED . The VILA sun lounger with a clean design featuring simple lines, stands out for its strength and its functionality, being easy to use and transport.

For its part, the IBIZA DAYBED is as comfortable as it is robust and easy to clean, since its cushion is made with Nautic fabric. For hotel Eetu, the XL model was chosen, which is higher and therefore offers greater comfort when it comes to getting on and off it.

The project was completed with the VILA side table, made in fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene, and the MARINE modular sofas.
