Between the councils of Sanxenxo and O Grove you will find A Lanzada, one of the best beaches on the European Atlantic coast, and one of the most quintessential beaches of Galicia. It is a fine, white sandy beach stretching over 2km with crystalline waters and is ideal for those who both love the sea and water sports. It is surrounded by a beautiful natural ecosystem of protected dunes.
This is an unrivalled location and a notable summer tourism destination where heritage and nature come together. It is also where you will find the Arrocería A Lanzada, which offers a wide range of restaurant services, cocktails and live music. All enjoyed on their ample terraces which are the perfect meeting point for enjoying a good meal and live music in a unique location.
In collaboration with our distributor, Ezpeleta was given the opportunity to furnish these amazing terraces, which enjoy privileged views. On them, we created welcoming and relaxing spaces from which to enjoy the natural surroundings and the marvellous views of the sea which encompass this unique space.
In the design of this outdoor space, we highlighted the colour combination of sand and aquamarine, which provides a direct connection with the shades of the sand and the sea. The terrace consists of MONACO tables and FADO chairs, both gathered together under VIGO 2.5x2.5 metre parasols with aluminium structures.
The table selected for these terraces was MONACO in a sand shade, with four legs for greater stability. The simplicity of its joint mechanism, using a polyamide joint, makes this table functional, practical and decorative. It also has height adjustors to avoid any occasional unevenness of the floor surface.
The FADO chair in sand and aquamarine was chosen to accompany the MONACO table. This model, which was inspired and manufactured in Portugal, has ergonomic, rounded shapes and is made from 100% recyclable materials.
Lastly, the space is organised around the VIGO parasol, which has an aluminium mounting, UPF80+ protection, using a sand coloured fabric to match the rest of the installation. This model was chosen because of its versatility, its durability and because of the adverse weather conditions from being so close to the sea. This model is made in Portugal using the 100% recyclable Olefin fabric, which is very resistant to sunlight, as the colour is fixed into the fabric more intensely during the manufacturing process.
