In the heart of Spain, not far from Madrid, is the wonderful city of Toledo, in the province of Castilla-La Mancha. It is the capital of this autonomous community and its old town has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its landscapes, its nature, its people, its monumental complex and its narrow streets, which retain the same layout as the Middle Ages, make this an incredible city, both from the inside and outside.

Description

Less than one hour from Toledo’s old town stands El Cigarral de las Mercedes, a spectacular 5 hectare estate, whose major asset are its imposing views of the city. The Hotel Boutique is situated here, in a privileged spot where you can relax and switch off from the hustle and bustle of the city. This hotel combines nature, culture and history to create a private setting where every detail is designed with the comfort of its guests in mind.

Along with our distributor, we were able to select the Ezpeleta furniture which best suited this luxury hotel, where they also organise and hold dream weddings and business events. To do this, products were chosen that matched the style and surroundings of the Hotel Boutique de Cigarral de las Mercedes.

This décor project focussed on the hotel’s outdoor space, in the pool area. Here, different Ezpeleta products have been used which combine perfectly with each other, they are all in a taupe colour. This colour was chosen as the focal point of the project because it is a suitable colour to establish visual consistency with the natural surroundings, earthy colours integrate well with the environment.

The furniture chosen was the VILA sun lounger, as a main element in the lounge area, accompanied by the VILA auxiliary table, always prioritising guests’ comfort. To offer the shade required in a sunny place like this, the EOLO PURETI parasol was chosen, a sustainable yet disruptive model. The fabric on this parasol has been treated with photocatalytic nanotechnology, which makes having an EOLO PURETI equate to the decontaminating effect of two trees.
