For your terrace… the striped parasol!

The good weather is approaching and its time to start getting your terrace organised so that everything is ready to go for the summer. As we have already mentioned in our blog post “Advice on choosing the best parasol for your terrace”, one of the most important elements of a terrace is the parasol. But, apart from its technical and functional features, other factors need to be kept in mind, such as the fabric. In this blog post we reveal the star fabric for this season: STRIPES.

This print is a must for terraces. It will give them a classic style while also providing the necessary features for your project. Moreover, if you are on the coast, the seaside style of the stripes will complement your terrace and surroundings to perfection. If you are looking for a more natural and minimalist style, the taupe/white striped parasol is the best choice, but if your terrace has a more elegant and chic air about it, the anthracite/white colour combination will triumph. You can find this in Ezpeleta parasols, such as FORMENTERA or FLEXO.

This quality striped fabric is OLEFIN, as are the rest of the colours.  The striped parasols are manufactured using polypropylene thread which has been mass dyed during its initial processing. This gives it a high resistance to sunlight, as the colour is fixed into the thread of the fabric more intensely than with other processes. Therefore, this striped fabric is a safe bet for outdoor terraces that catch the sun for long periods of time.

Additionally, these parasols have a UV Certification standard 801 with a UPF level of 80. This guarantees protection of the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays. They are also water-repellent, hard-wearing, stain-resistant and 100% recyclable.
